The SSG 69 sniper rifle was developed for the Austrian Army in 1969. The rifle was also trialed by the Australian Army in 1978 in sniper rifle trials. Although the SSG 69 rifle was very accurate, the Parker Hale L82 rifle was chosen as it was cheaper. This rifle is fitted with a 267734 telescopic sight.
