Tropical shorts (shorts) Africacorps M40, is basically the same cut as the standard army uniform but was issued to the army forces in North Africa, made of olive-drab cotton twill which in service faded to khaki and as usual, Officers as usual often purchased uniforms privately, which in turn issued several colors of these shorts, including green, yellow and khaki & Beige, and sometimes a green collar was added to the shorts.
