The Tropical service shirt was issued to German troops for use in Afrika, Italy and other areas of the Mediterranean. Features pleated pockets with scalloped flaps, split cuffs, shoulder board loops and pebble finish buttons. The M40 would serve with German troops for some time, almost until the end of the war.
